At San Diego Film Camp, our instructors and mentors are the heart of the experience. We believe great filmmaking education starts with great educators, people who know how to teach, inspire, and support young creatives at every stage of learning.
Educators First, Filmmakers Always
Our team is made up of experienced educators, filmmakers, and media professionals who are passionate about working with kids and teens. Every instructor brings both teaching expertise and real-world filmmaking experience, ensuring students learn industry-relevant skills in a way that is age-appropriate, engaging, and confidence-building.
We don’t just teach filmmaking, we teach how to learn, collaborate, and think creatively.
Supportive Mentorship
Students are guided through the entire filmmaking process by mentors who prioritize encouragement, patience, and clear instruction. Whether a student is brand new to filmmaking or developing advanced skills, our mentors meet them where they are and help them grow.
